Update Status

You can change the status of a request to record progress toward resolving the request. Status changes become part of the request history and can be useful when you research and update requests.

To update the status of a request

  1. Select the request from the Request List page on the Service Desk tab.

    The Request Detail page appears.

  2. On the menu bar, select Activities, Update Status.

    The Status Change page appears.

  3. Edit the status and other activities fields as appropriate.

  4. Click Save.

    The activity is recorded on the Activities tab on the Request Detail page.
