Attach a URL to an Incident

You can attach a link to a URL to an incident so that it may be viewed when viewing or editing the incident.

To attach a URL to an incident:

  1. On the Service Desk tab, select the desired incident from the Incident List page.

    The Incident Detail page displays.

  2. Select the Attachments tab, and click Attach URL.

    The Create New Attachment page displays.

  3. Enter the URL you want to attach.
  4. Enter a name for the attachment.

    This name displays in the Attachment List on the Incident Detail page.

  5. Enter a description for the attachment.
  6. Click Save.

    The link to the URL is added to the incident record and is listed on the Attachments tab of the Incident Detail page.
