The transaction work area (TWA or work area) is a data warehouse where you can store, review, and modify CI and relationship transaction information from multiple sources before you load the transactions into the CMDB. In the TWA, you can modify incoming transaction data to conform to your CA CMDB requirements. You also can use the TWA to modify data input that could create false positives (multiple CI representations of the same business object) or false negatives (multiple business objects identified as the same CI) during the reconciliation process.
Note: Transaction information can apply to new objects or to objects that are already in the CMDB.
