Define Query Properties

You can set properties for the query that can optimize the time taken for the query to run or the amount of data returned. Properties are grouped together in sections on the Query Properties page in the Result Objects pane.

To limit the number of rows returned to reports

1. Click Query Properties in the Query toolbar.

   The Query properties window appears.

2. Type the number of maximum rows you want to be retrieved.

To limit the run time for queries

1. Click Query Properties in the Query toolbar.

   The Query properties window appears.

2. Type a Maximum retrieval time in seconds.
