Use Advanced Search Criteria

You can perform an advanced search after using the home page search.

To perform an advanced search

1. Perform a keyword search.

   The search results appear.

2. Click Advanced Search.

   The Advanced Search menu appears.

3. Select from the following attributes:

   Keyword Search

   Performs a standard keyword search.

   Natural Language Search

   Performs a natural language search.

   With

   Performs a search based on the following:

   • Any of the words (OR)
   • All of the words (AND)
   • Exact match

   Search In

   Performs a search in the following document fields:

   • Title
   • Summary
   • Problem
   • Resolution

   Order by

   Sorts the search by the following attributes:

   • Relevance
   • FAQ Rating
   • Hits
   • Modify Date

   Search using Document ID

4. Click Search.

   The Advanced Search results appear.
