Inventory Fields

The following fields require explanation:

• IP Address -- The identifier for the configuration item on the network.
• Model -- The manufacturer's model identifier for the configuration item.
• Manufacturer -- The manufacturer of the item. This field is automatically populated, based on the value of the Model field, and cannot be changed.
• License Number -- The license number of the service provider (if applicable).
• Service Status -- The service status of the item. Available values are based on the Configuration Item Service Status List as defined by the administrator.
• Acquire Date -- The date and time the item was acquired, in the format mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm am | pm. Enter the date and time directly or click the calendar icon to select the date and time.
• Installation Date -- The date and time the item was installed, in the format mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm am | pm. Enter the date and time directly or click the calendar icon to select the date and time.
• Expiration Date -- The date and time the item expires, in the format mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm am | pm. Enter the date and time directly or click the calendar icon to select the date and time.
• Warranty Start/End Date -- The date and time the item's warranty begins and ends, in the format mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm am | pm. Enter the date and time directly or click the calendar icon to select the date and time.
• Product Version -- The version number of the item, typically used for software and/or hardware.
• Financial Reference -- Indicates the association of the configuration item with your financial software.
• Quantity -- The number of the item currently on hand in inventory.
