Log Comment

When editing an incident, you can record comments in the Activity Log to assist in resolving the incident. A comment can be any additional information about the incident that needs to be recorded.

To log a comment for an incident

  1. Select the incident from the Incident List page on the Service Desk tab.

    The Incident Detail page appears.

  2. Select Activities, Log Comment on the menu bar.

    The Create New Activity page appears.

  3. Enter the comment in the User Description field.

  4. Click Save.

    The comment is recorded on the Activities tab on the Incident Detail page.
