Update Status

You can change the status of a problem to record progress toward resolving the problem. Status changes become part of the problem history and can be useful when you research and update problems.

To update the status of a problem

  1. Select the problem from the Problem List page on the Service Desk tab.

    The Problem Detail page appears.

  2. Select Activities, Update Status on the menu bar.

    The Status Change page appears.

  3. Edit the status and other activities fields as appropriate.

  4. Click Save.

    The status is updated and the activity is recorded on the Activities tab on the Problem Detail page.
