Log Comment

When editing a request, you can record comments in the Activity Log to assist in resolving the request. A comment can be any additional information about the request that needs to be recorded.

To log a comment for a request

  1. Select the request from the Request List page on the Service Desk tab.

    The Request Detail page appears.

  2. Select Activities, Log Comment on the menu bar.

    The Create New Activity page appears.

  3. Enter your comment in the User Description field.

  4. Click Save.

    The comment is recorded on the Activities Tab on the Request Detail page.
