Close All Children

You can use the Close All Children command to close all tickets that have a child relationship to a particular ticket.

To close all children of a ticket

  1. Select the appropriate ticket type from the Scoreboard. For example, select Requests.

    The Requests folder expands to reveal nested folders for Assigned and Unassigned tickets.

  2. Select the appropriate folder under Assigned or Unassigned for the ticket whose children you want to close.

    The ticket list page appears.

  3. Click the ticket number.

    The ticket detail page appears.

  4. Select Close All Children from the Actions menu.

    The Close All Children page appears.

  5. (Optional) Enter comments in the Remarks field to explain the action.
  6. Click OK.

    The Close All Children page closes and Parent/Child tab on the ticket record shows all child tickets with a status of Closed.
