Edit a Menu Tree Resource
You can update a menu tree resource that has already been created.
To edit a menu tree resource
- From the Administration tab, navigate to Security and Role Management, Role Management, Menu Tree Resources.
The Menu Tree Resource List page appears.
- Select the menu tree resource you want to edit.
The Menu Tree Resource Detail page appears.
- Click Edit.
The Update Menu Tree Resource page appears.
- Edit the following fields:
- Name -- The name displayed in the menu tree in the left pane of the tab. This is a required field.
- Status -- Indicate whether the resource is active or inactive. This is a required field.
- Description -- The description of the resource. This should assist in further defining the purpose of the resource.
- Resource -- The action performed when the user selects the resource from the menu tree. This can be the name of the page that is displayed or the search operation that is performed.
- Click Save.
The menu tree resource definition is saved and the Menu Tree Resource Detail page appears.
