Define Knowledge Management Privileges
You can define the areas of Knowledge Management you want to be available for this role.
Note: Not all of the Knowledge Management privilege options are available for the Customer and Employee roles. For access to all of the options, you must select the Analyst web user interface type on the Web Interface tab and save the role definition.
The Knowledge Management fields appear.
Allows the role to open an issue and request.
Allows the role to open an issue and request based on a Knowledge Document.
Allows the role to bypass the knowledge approval process.
Allows the role to change the approval process template.
Allows the role to manage Knowledge Categories.
Allows the role to delete parents and child categories and documents.
Allows the role to delete a Knowledge Category.
Allows the role to Create a Knowledge Document.
Allows the role to create a document with attachments.
Note: If this option is disabled, the Attach File and Attach File from Library buttons do not appear for that role.
Allows the role to delete knowledge documents, forums and files.
Allows the role to view forums.
Allows the role to create a forum.
Allows the role to reply to a forum.
Allows the role to edit a forum.
Allows the role to view files.
Allows the role to edit files.
Allows the role to view the external repository.
Allows the role to view related support tickets.
Allows the role to add bookmark to My Bookmarks.
Allows the role to use preferences.
Allows the role to export knowledge packages.
Allows the role to import knowledge packages.
