Add the Search Source

You can add a source from where you want to search for information.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click Create New to add a Federated Search Source.

    The Create New Search Source page opens.

  2. Enter the following field values:
    Search Source Name

    Specifies a unique name for the search source.

    Code

    Specifies a unique identifier for the search source.

    Record Status

    Specifies the status of the search source. If the search source is inactive, you cannot find information from this source and this source option will not display in the Knowledge Search Source page.

  3. (If multi-tenancy is enabled) Click Update Tenants and add the tenants.
  4. Click Save.

    You added the search source.
