Update an Activity Association

You can edit an activity association that has already been created. Activity associations enable you to define activity types that you can associate with an attribute of an object. You can use these activity types to label changes to an attribute.

To update an activity association

  1. On the Administration tab, browse to Notifications, Activity Associations.

    The Activity Association List appears.

  2. Select an activity association.

    The Active Activity Association Type Detail window opens.

  3. Click Edit.

    The Update Activity Association Type window appears.

  4. Change one or more of the following fields:
    Symbol

    Defines a unique identifier for this record.

    Object Type

    Specifies the name of the object to which the attribute applies. Click the drop-down list to select the Object Type.

    Description

    Describes the activity association.

    Object Type Attribute

    Defines the field to which the activity type is associated.

    Activity Type

    Indicates the type of event. The events automatically create entries in the activity log.

    Log Me

    Determines if changing this activity association creates a log entry in the Audit Log.

  5. Click Save.

    The activity association definition is saved and the Active Activity Association Type Detail page appears.
