Create an Issue from the File Menu

On the Service Desk tab, you can create a new issue from the File menu without using a template.

Note: If multi-tenancy is installed, select the appropriate tenant from the drop-down list. The public (shared) option creates the object for all tenants.

To create a new issue from the File menu

  1. On the Service Desk tab, select File, New Issue.

    The Create New Issue window opens.

  2. Complete the fields as appropriate for the issue.

  3. Use the controls available on the tabs at the bottom of this page to process the issue as appropriate.
