Update Status

You can change the status of an issue to record progress toward resolving the issue. Status changes become part of the issue history and can be useful when you research and update issues.

To update the status of an issue

  1. Select the issue from the Issue List page on the Service Desk tab.

    The Issue Detail page appears.

  2. Select Activities, Update Status on the menu bar.

    The Status Change page appears.

  3. Edit the status and other activities fields as appropriate.

  4. Click Save.

    The activity is recorded on the Activities tab on the Issue Detail page.
