Attach a URL to a Problem

You can attach a link to a URL to a problem so that it may be viewed when viewing or editing the problem.

To attach a URL to a problem:

  1. On the Service Desk tab, select the desired problem from the Problem List page.

    The Problem Detail page displays.

  2. Select the Attachments tab and click Attach URL.

    The Create New Attachment page displays.

  3. Enter the URL you want to attach.
  4. Enter a name for the attachment.

    This is the name that displays in the attachment list on the Problem Detail page.

  5. Enter a description for the attachment.
  6. Click Save.

    A link to the URL is added to the problem record and is listed on the Attachments tab of the Problem Detail page.
