CAB Status Update Methods

Change Managers can update the CAB status for change orders (and associated CA Workflow tasks) CAB status, without opening each change and updating the details. Change Managers can launch the CAB Console to display details of change orders, CA Workflow tasks, or workitems, depending on the type of approval the group follows, and approve or reject them. The Change Manager can enter comments while the approvals or rejections are in-progress.

Important! Change and issue categories can use either CA SDM internal (classic) workflow system or the CA Workflow application. The CAB approval process uses the classic workflow system. The CAB Console lets you list and view CA Workflow workitems; however, updating workitems for Approvals is dependent on the definition of CA Workflow.
