Define Knowledge Report Card Statistics

You can define the schedule at which the product calculates and sends notifications about the Knowledge Report Card (KRC), and to define the content of KRC notification emails. Knowledge Management uses the CA SDM notification engine.

Note: Rework versions are not presented when you run KRC calculation.

To define the KRC schedule

1. On the Administration tab, select Knowledge, Knowledge Report Card.

   The Report Card page appears.

2. Configure the following options based on how you want to calculate knowledge statistics:

   Last Updated

   Runs the Report Card calculation.

   Default: Deactivated

   Note: If you do not run calculation, statistical data is not collected. You get a message telling you to run the calculation appears when the Knowledge Report Card command is specified from the View menu on the Knowledge tab.

   Schedule

   Specifies the frequency that you want KRC to calculate statistics.

   • Report Card Calculation will next run on xxx and will run every xxx—Specifies the date and recurrence to recalculate the Report Card statistics.
   • Report Card Email Notifications will next be sent on xxx and will be sent every xxx—Specifies the date and recurrence to send Report Card notifications.

     Default: Never

   • Report Card Email Should Display Statistics for the Past xxx—Specifies the amount of time for which the Report Card notification contains information. This field is only available when you select a value other than Never from the Report Card Email Notifications will be Sent Every xxx list.
   • Default: 365 days

3. Click Save or Reset Defaults.

   The Knowledge Report Card options are set.
