Edit a KPI

You can edit some field values on KPI records of any type (System, Stored Query, or SQL).

Note: You can only edit the value of the Record Status field by using the "Edit in List" button on the KPI List page. For more information, see Make a KPI Active or Inactive.

Important! Each time you update a KPI record, a new version is created and the previous version is set to inactive. Multiple versions of a KPI with the same name cannot be active at the same time.

To edit a KPI

  1. Select Service Desk, KPIs on the Administration tab.

    The KPI List appears.

  2. Click the name of the KPI you want to edit.

    The KPI Detail page appears.

  3. Click Edit.

    The Update KPI page appears.

  4. Modify the field values as appropriate.

  5. Click Save.

    The KPI Detail page displays a successful save message.
