KPI Fields: System KPIs

The KPI Detail page for System KPIs contains the following fields:

KPI Name

Defines the display name for the KPI record. The value is not editable.

Note: Also see System Name below.

Keep Existing Version

Specifies that the current version of the KPI record is retained if the record is updated. The value is not editable.

Version

Identifies the version number of the KPI record. The version number is incremented automatically each time the record is updated, and the old version is automatically set to inactive. Multiple versions of a KPI with the same name cannot be active at the same time. This field is not editable.

Record Status

(Required) Specifies whether the KPI is active or inactive.

Type

Specifies the KPI type as System KPI. The value is not editable.

Metric Type

Specifies the kind of calculation the KPI performs. For System KPIs, the metric type is either count or duration. The value is not editable.

Refresh Time

Specifies the time interval (HH:MM:SS) at which the KPI metrics are updated. This field is required. The value is editable.

Process Type

System KPIs support queries to four CA SDM process types:

• domsrvr—The CA SDM Object Manager.
• bpvirtdb—The BOP Virtual Database Server enables operation of multiple Object Managers in the CA SDM environment. All Object Managers connect to the virtual database, which arbitrates their access to database agents.
• db_agents—Database agents handle interactions between CA SDM and the database platform (for example, Oracle).
• webengine—The CA SDM web service component that connects web browsers to an Object Manager.

System Name

Defines the internal name for the KPI. The value is not editable.

Description

(Optional) Provides a detailed description of the KPI's purpose. The value is editable.
