Edit Functional Access Areas for a Role

A functional access area is a group of objects that let you restrict user access. Many functional access areas are available for fine-tuning access levels for roles. You can edit access levels for roles or assign roles to new functional access areas to limit user access.

Note: You can also use Web Screen Painter to edit functional access areas. Web Screen Painter refers to a functional access area as a function group. For help on assigning tables to function groups, see the Web Screen Painter Help.
