Insert Workflow Task Fields
- Workflow Task Sequence Radio Buttons -- Display all the workflow tasks currently associated with this ticket. Click a radio button to indicate where within the sequence you want to insert the new task. The new task is added into the existing task sequence at the position indicated by the radio button.
- Task Type Selection Radio Buttons -- Display all of the workflow task templates available in category to which the ticket is assigned. Click a radio button to select one of the templates, or to select a type available to all workflow tasks, click the Type radio button and choose a task type from the drop-down list.
- Select Configuration Items -- The hardware, software, or service affected by the ticket. A record set up by the system administrator uniquely identifies each configuration item and indicates its precise location. Click the check boxes for the configuration items you want to link to the workflow task.
- Assignee -- The name of the person assigned to the ticket. Enter a value directly or click the search icon to search for a contact.
- Group -- The group that is responsible for the ticket. Your system administrator defines groups of contacts that are responsible for different types of tickets. Any individual contact assigned to the group can handle the task once it has been assigned to the group. Enter a value directly or click the search icon to search for a group.
- Estimated Completion Date -- Indicates the estimated date when the task should be finished. The date and time display in mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm am | pm format. Enter the date and time directly or click the calendar icon to select a date.
- Estimated Cost -- Estimates the costs to complete the task. Enter the amount as an integer without commas or periods. It is best to enter the amount in dollars only.
- Estimated Duration -- Estimates time to complete the task. Enter the estimated duration in hh:mm:ss format.
