The Node Actions menu lets you add, rename, and delete nodes in the knowledge tree. This menu contains the following commands:
Adds a query node to the query node currently selected in the Tree pane. You cannot add a query node to the primary node, a conclusion node, or a jump node. This command is also available on the toolbar and on the shortcut menu that opens when you right-click a node in the Tree pane.
Adds a conclusion node to the query node currently selected in the Tree pane. You cannot add a conclusion node to the primary node, a conclusion node, or a jump node. This command is also available on the toolbar and on the shortcut menu that opens when you right-click a node in the Tree pane.
Adds a jump node to the query node currently selected in the Tree pane. You cannot add a jump node to the primary node, a conclusion node, or a jump node. This command is also available on the toolbar and on the shortcut menu that opens when you right-click a node in the Tree pane.
Opens the Prompt window so you can change the name of the node currently selected in the Tree pane. You cannot rename the primary node. This command is also available on the shortcut menu that opens when you right-click a node in the Tree pane.
Links the currently selected jump node to the next node you select. You cannot link a jump node to the primary node or to another jump node. This command is also available on the shortcut menu that opens when you right-click a node in the Tree pane.
Deletes the currently selected node and its subnodes from the knowledge tree without putting them on the clipboard.
Note: When you delete a query node, the query and its responses are removed from the knowledge tree. You cannot delete the primary node. This command is also available on the toolbar and on the shortcut menu that opens when you right-click a node in the Tree pane.
Note: By default, the Tree Designer prompts you to confirm node deletion. Click OK to close the prompt and delete the node and its subnodes.
