Organization Fields

The following fields require explanation:

Name

Defines the display name by which you want to identify the organization within your system. This field is required. Editable.

Organization Code

Defines a numerical value by which you want to identify the organization within your system. This field is optional. Editable.

Record Status

Specifies whether the record is active or inactive. This field is required. Editable.

Contact Name

Specifies the contact record of the person assigned to manage communication with the organization. This field is optional. Editable.

Email Address

Specifies the e-mail address of the person assigned to manage communication with the organization. This field is optional. Editable.

Pager Email Address

Specifies the pager e-mail address of the person assigned to manage communication with the organization. This field is optional. Editable.

Service Type

Specifies a service type to be associated with the organization. This field is optional. Editable. See Service Types for more information.

Service Contract

Specifies a service contract to be associated with the organization. This field is optional. Editable. See Service Contracts for more information.

Billing Code

Specifies a cost center to be associated with the organization. This field is optional. Editable. See Cost Centers for more information.

Location

Specifies an address to be associated with the organization. This field is optional. Editable. See Locations for more information.

Address

Identifies an address to be associated with the organization. The fields on this tab are filled in automatically if you select a location code for the organization. See Locations for more information.

Environment

Specifies configuration items to be associated with the organization. See Configuration Items for more information.

Note: You can click the More icon to display the Additional Search Arguments field. This field is intended only for expert users who understand SQL and Majic and can use it to specify search arguments that are not available in the standard search filter fields. You can enter a SQL WHERE clause in this field to specify an additional search argument.
