Search for a Root Cause Code

You can enter search criteria to filter the root cause list to display only the codes of interest.

To search for a root cause code

  1. Select Service Desk, Application Data, Codes, Root Causes on the Administration tab.

    The Root Cause List page appears.

  2. Enter values the filter to limit the list to the codes of interest.

    See Root Cause Fields for field descriptions.

  3. Click Search.

    The Root Cause List page displays the codes that match your search criteria.
