Search Using "Go" Resources

You can search for items by a number, name, or ID. In the upper right-hand corner of the main window, there is a drop down list containing the searchable record types. These searchable record types are referred to as "go" resources.

To search for an item using "go" resources:

  1. From the drop down list in the upper right-hand corner of the main window, select the record type you want to search.
  2. In the text box to the right of the drop down list, enter the criteria to be used in the search. For example, if you selected incident, problem, request, change order, or issue, enter the ticket number. If you selected User by Name, enter the name of the user.

    Note: You can enter the first few characters of a name or number as the search criteria to display a list of all matching items.

  3. Click Go.

    The item or items matching the search criteria display.
