Timezone Fields

The following fields require explanation:

Symbol

Defines the display name by which you want to identify the timezone within your system, such as the name of a prominent city within the time zone. This field is required. Editable.

Code

Defines the internal name the system uses to identify the timezone. This field is required. Not editable.

GMT Delta

Defines the difference between the time in this time zone and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). This field is optional. Editable.

Record Status

Specifies whether the record is active or inactive. This field is required. Editable.

Daylight Savings Time Delta

Defines the difference between standard time and daylight savings time. This field is optional. Editable.

Use as System Default

Specifies whether the time zone is used as the default time zone in your system. This field is optional. Editable.

Daylight Savings Time Starts

Specifies the beginning of daylight savings time for the time zone, for example the first Sunday of April. Alternatively, you can specify a particular date. These fields are optional. Editable.

Daylight Savings Time Ends

Specifies the ending of daylight savings time for the time zone, for example the last Sunday of September. Alternatively, you can specify a particular date. These fields are optional. Editable.

Note: You can click the More icon to display the Additional Search Arguments field.
