View a Forum

You can view a forum by performing a search on the Knowledge tab.

To view a forum

1. Click the Knowledge tab.

   The Knowledge Search appears.

2. Select Forums from the dropdown.

   Search for a forum.

   Your search results appear.

3. Click a forum.

   The Forum opens.

   The forum displays the following:

   Question

   Displays the forum question.

   Replies

   Displays all replies to this forum. You can select Open All, Collapse All or Reply.

   Related Tickets

   Displays links such as tickets solved by the forum.

4. You can do the following from the Page Options menu:

   Reply

   Allows you to answer the forum.

   Edit

   Allows you to edit the forum.

   Subscribe

   Allows you to receive updates when the forum is answered.

   Update Status

   Allows you to change the forum status.

   Rate

   Allows you to rate the effectiveness of the forum.

   Email

   Allows you to Email the forum.

   Convert to Knowledge Document

   Converts the forum into a Knowledge Document.

   Printable Version

   Opens a printer-friendly version of the forum.

5. Close the Forum page when you are finished.
