View Session Alerts

You can view assistance session alerts, such as when an end user disconnects, an analyst tool is used, a file transfer completes, and so on. The Alerts panel displays a history of up to 100 alerts you received. Alerts also display in the status bar, but they can appear quickly, especially when you handle multiple assistance sessions.

To view alerts

  1. Launch Live Assistance from the Support Automation tab or from a CA SDM ticket.

    The Support Automation Analyst Interface appears.

  2. Navigate to the Alerts panel on the main window.
  3. Double-click the alert item or use the Context menu to open the alerted session in the Active Session View.

    The appropriate session appears.

Note: Unexpected behavior, such as a warning, connection error, script run error, and so on, displays as a pop-up dialog. Pop-up alerts are also placed in the Alerts Panel.
