View Transitions

Transitions control the movement of a ticket from one status to another. You can display the transitions for each ticket type.

To view transitions

  1. Navigate to the ticket status detail page.
  2. Select the Request/Incident/Problem Transitions tab.

    The Transitions List appears.

  3. Change the status or default if necessary.

The following fields require explanation:

Status

Displays a valid new (next) status for a ticket.

Tenant

In a system with multi-tenancy enabled, displays the name of the tenant associated with the transition. Tenanted transitions are available only for tickets that belong to that tenant or to a tenant in its subtenant group. A tenanted transition can reference either Public or Tenanted status values.

Default

Displays the default transition..

Must Comment

Indicates that a text comment is required when you use the transition.
