Create a New Forum

You can create a new forum from the Knowledge tab.

Note: If multi-tenancy is installed, select the appropriate tenant from the drop-down list. The public (shared) option creates the object for all tenants.

To create a new forum

  1. Click the Knowledge tab.

    The Knowledge Search appears.

  2. Click File, New Forum.

    The Create New Forum page appears.

  3. Complete the appropriate fields:
    Category

    Opens the Knowledge Category List page. Use this to specify a category for your new forum.

    Submitter

    Displays the submitter of the new forum.

    Priority

    Sets the priority of the new forum.

    Title

    Defines the title of the new forum.

    Question

    Defines the question for the new forum.

    Click Spell Check All Fields.

    (Optional) The Spell Check Results page appears if there are spelling errors.

  4. Click Save.

    The Update Forum page appears.
