Knowledge Document Control
Open the knowledge documents and add comments, submit knowledge, and view the knowledge tree documents. They can also specify the content and appearance of documents by selecting a template.
Administrators can control how users interact with documents by performing the following tasks:
- Define the comment types that appear in knowledge documents and drop-down lists in the end-user interface.
- Specify document settings that are related to comments, submitting knowledge, and viewing documents.
- Create document templates that specify the content and appearance of documents.
- Export (or import) knowledge content from another resource or system. For the advanced availability configuration, you cannot export or import from the application server using the CA SDM Web UI. To export or import using application server, execute the pdm_kit or pdm_ket utility if the package resides in a UNC shared drive.
- Manage document versioning capabilities.
- Manage the Knowledge Documents Schedule.
