Log Comment

When editing an issue, you can record comments in the Activity Log to assist in resolving the issue. A comment can be any additional information about the issue that needs to be recorded.

To log a comment for an issue

  1. Select the issue from the Issue List page on the Service Desk tab.

    The Issue Detail page appears.

  2. Select Activities, Log Comment on the menu bar.

    The Create New Activity page appears.

  3. Enter your comment in the User Description field.

  4. Click Save.

    The comment is recorded on the Activities Tab on the Issue Detail page.
