Managed Surveys let administrators select a desired sample population and match it to a specific survey. The administrator can then distribute targeted requests for respondents to take the survey at a specific time. This gives the administrator the flexibility of creating open survey periods, while maintaining the ability to have activity-based and category-based surveys related to Requests, Change Orders, and Issues.
The purpose of Managed Surveys is to provide a mechanism for managing surveys. This function can be useful when for survey forms that only need to be monitored periodically (for example, surveys only used during a short period every year or surveys that have been offline too long).
Important! If you want to send the survey to a large number of contacts, set the default value of NX_SURVEY_ILIMIT in NX.env to a higher limit, such as 1073741824.
You can view a list of managed surveys by going to Service Desk, Surveys, Managed Surveys on the Administration tab.
From the tabs on this window you can monitor managed survey activities, select the audience for a survey, and send initial and reminder notification messages to the target survey population. Also, from the view and edit window, you can attach events to the managed survey using the button provided.
