Severity Fields

The following fields require explanation:

Symbol

Defines the display name by which you want to identify the severity code within your system. This field is required. Editable.

Record Status

Specifies whether the record is active or inactive. This field is required. Editable.

Description

Provides information about the ranking of the codes. For example, the predefined Severity 1 code represents lower severity than the predefined Severity 5 code. This field is required. Editable.

Note: You can click the More icon to display the Additional Search Arguments field. This field is intended only for expert users who understand SQL and Majic and can use it to specify search arguments that are not available in the standard search filter fields. You can enter a SQL WHERE clause in this field to specify an additional search argument.
